Artist Statement
The technical perfection of the photograph is not important or displaying exactly what i see, it is a sensing, a intuitive collaboration with the surroundings or setup observing, searching for at graceful expression, a artwork on its own terms.
I can sometimes see it as being like the shaman inviting the ancestors, performing a ritual, translating a ancient language communicated by nature, or the scientist that goes deep into the nature of existence and reality, into the quantum realm. I seek to capture the mystic and soul of nature and to share my experience, like when putting words to a atmosphere you have to use poetry, i use my camera to the extreme to capture the dimensions between things.
I describe my style as abstract realism, sometimes abstract and minimalistic or impressionistic. My style is distinct and pure charaterized by overexposure, grain, soft focus and effects only created by how i move my camera during making the photo. My work can be described as a pure form of fine art photography since i choose to create the abstract and impressionist effects as seen in my photographs using only the basic camera settings.
Photo software is used only to remove dust or adjust brightness, contrast and cropping to improve my compositions, i dont manipulate my photos or use digital tools or filters.
With my artworks i want to stimulate imagination, not just your sight, i want to sense and feel the mystery and dimensions in nature and sense beyond seeing.

Biography
I am a self taught fine art photographer and video artist from Denmark, based in Copenhagen. Nørrebro. I started doing videos for my progressive electronic jazz funk i produced in the early 90s, experimenting with what i had, learning by doing with what ever camera i could explore the limits of what a camera can handle and what i could afford to express my visual poetic and abstract universe.
I always had a experimental approach and an abstract mind set for creating, a on going search and discovery and consistent search for existential answers to a mindful proces and practice, coming from a background of martial arts and a love for dancing & music since i was a kid, motion has become a key to my life, Karate-Do becomes a lifestyle, a path or process of building character, pursuing faith in whats behind every move or action, using focus, this is all essential characteristics in my approach for creating my works.
Working from a alert playfulness in action and through the use of abstract form layering of light, shadows, colors, textures, shapes and lines. I like to say i am playing on the mystic of darkness and the magic of light and motion.
My artwork have been displayed on exhibitions since 2018, in copenhagen. I continuously have my work displayed in my gallery /studio located in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. ArtLab 21.
